Parking was tricky to find, we weren't sure at first but got there in the end, went through the wrong gate at first then the right one.

Lots of stings and scratches to get to the cache but when we found it we found 2! We signed the one with the log then continued down to the brook.

After an unassuming track we suddenly found ourselves in a hidden beauty spot, wishing we had remembered our trunks today - but not expecting anything like this.

Mrs Fitz had rubber sandals so she made her way out to the river rock bank easily. I hopped from one dry rock to the next, reached the rock bank. I then tried to clamber over the mini island to the opposite bank in order to get a better view of the waterfalls but met with disaster and wet socks. After that I decided to remove my socks and trainers and wade, which was great as the water was cool, clean and refreshing.

After taking some photos _TeamFitz_ were debating whether or not to go skinny dipping. It was late in the day, and Mrs Fitz was a little worried that one or two farmers would have a good eye view so we passed - but we both regretted not carping diem.

Thanks for bringing us to this secret spot and for the cache!

Dipped (but not in the water): Rav4 TB
