Great cache location!

We were staying up the road in at Birchwood B&B overnight before catching the ferry this morning. Spent last night having food at Fordes which was superb. We were lucky enough that the local musicians had decided to meet and play that night on the off chance so we had a great meal accompanied by traditional Irish music minus the tourists. Thoroughly recommend it.

We came out of the pub and Mrs Fitz spotted the greenhouse and I thought it was such an interesting structure, I immediately wanted to photograph it - the broken glass only adds to it's mysterious alure. Too bad the property is closed off, but I guess that's safest.

Got back to the B&B but we didn't have any caches loaded for the area. Mrs Fitz used her Android to check for any nearby which is how we discovered this cache - right next to the greenhouse! So we decided to go for it after breakfast before heading to the ferry. Turns out it was the perfect time as the youths (who seemed to be doing a re-enactment of Grease last night) were not around at 7am in the morning and I was able to stand on the picnic table and take some photos of the greenhouse.

We weren't aware of the local history or the link to Hollywood just down the road, otherwise we would have booked an extra night here and arrived early. We'll definitely be back I think.

Dipped Rav4 TB. TFTC!
