We actually did this one last - the reason being at the time I had no reception on the mobile so I couldn't contact Dr S to confirm a replacement drop.
On the way back, after obtaining the code we stopped quickly in the car and tucked the replacement neatly away in near enough the spot it should be in going by the hint.
On the first time up here though, on foot, we didn't have much time to spare, desperate to relieve ourselves and me personally needing a No. 2 we headed out and decided to get back to the car asap and skip the last of the caches further up.
Finally finding releif in The Bell we resolved to drive the last few caches and give our feet a rest.
