We decided to come up to Kings Langley for the day and grab a few of the caches around here. I've seen this virtual sitting here for a long time and it must be the nearest virtual to us so I'm glad to finally get it.
The main entrance to the garden was closed for repaving but we soon found the side entrance and headed in. Bit of confusion at first over which tree it could be but the hint confirmed the one and it was then that Mrs Fitz with her incredible eyes spotted the "sword".
Fascinating bit of legend, it would be nice to get a ladder or something and really confirm what it is - I wonder how long the tree will stand there too, seems to be in advance stage of disease.
