We've been looking at this series since Winter and waiting for the right time (and season) to do it. For a long time whenever I've cared to look towards the Chilterns to seek out caches there's these flipping huge rings splattered all over the map... so it's time to clear these off the map and join the ranks of those who've done the Chesham 100.
I had communicated with Dr Solly the week before and agreed to bring some containers and replace any missing. We started at this one about 7.30am and were already discovering that the first one appeared to be missing. We did indeed find what was left of the string.
Quick call to DS to confirm and a replacement was dispatched. The hint will still work but it's a bit further down, not on a string and with new coords. Contains logbook and series clue.
