It seems to me that the last couple of weeks, any evening I've planned to go caching after work was an evening it decided to rain. So once again I planned this evening and around 5pm - thunder and lightening and a short rainstorm, but by 5.30pm it was over and the sun was shining again!

Off I headed to Fleet Street, which is around the corner from where I am working. I headed down into the Temple where I've been once before and got to GZ then began to broaden my search for some latin. This was quite hard as I didn't trust the coords, not only because of the nature of the hint but because of the London effect which does strange things to my GPSr.

I struggled to find anything that fit the clues, so I then began to take a bit of a tour around the Temple area using the information points as guides. The second set of coords in the hint brought me down to a view of the beautiful gardens but in terms of where I should have been were way out. After walking around, browsing the last 5 photo's I ended up back where the first coords originally led me and so began to scratch my head and look again for anything I might have missed.

It was then that for some reason, I looked where we don't often look and found what had been hinted. I took pictures, it was then that a Brazilian girl came down and asked if I could take her photo with her camera. I did so and then it occurred to me I needed a photo of me at GZ so I asked if she minded taking a photo of me with my Blackberry. She obliged and I said it doesn't matter if the pic is rubbish, it's for a game I'm playing. She asked about the game and so I got to explaining Geocaching to her.

I found out she was just over for a week and she lives in New York, we talked about the English weather and how wet it is, as you always inevitably do with foreigners and after a brief chit chat off we went our separate ways - and dare I say it - just might have introduced someone new to geocaching!

TFTC - another of the Sherlock series bites the dust!
